The Challenge
A narrow 20×30 city plot with road access on one short edge only. The family needed three bedrooms, a workspace and parking — far more programme than the footprint suggested possible.
Our Approach
We built vertically across G+3, stacking living, sleeping and a rooftop workspace, and threaded a slim light well through all floors to bring daylight to the centre of the plan. Joinery is built-in throughout to reclaim every inch, and a compact stair doubles as display and storage.
The Outcome
A surprisingly generous home on a small plot — four usable levels, abundant daylight and storage that keeps it uncluttered. Completed in 12 months within a tight urban budget.
